Technical Readiness Task: The "Loom" Video
We do not use multiple-choice tests to measure potential. We use communication.
The Task: Record a 60-second video of your screen while you explain something. It could be a piece of code you wrote, a project you built, a complex concept you mastered, or just you solving a logic puzzle. We want to hear how you think.
How to do it:
- Go to Loom.com (it's free).
- Install the Chrome Extension or Desktop App.
- Record your screen and voice (camera bubble is optional but recommended).
- Copy the link and paste it below.
Motivation & Independence
Sonora Socratic is a mastery-based environment. We do not use busywork, and we do not police your time. We provide the map and the mentorship, but you must drive the car.
Time Commitment
A traditional high school requires ~35 hours a week of seat time plus homework. Because our model cuts out the busywork, successful students typically finish their full rigorous course load in 25–30 focused hours per week.
